** VENUE CHANGE ** Fields now at Drake…

Wednesday, May 9th, 2007

Due to venue issues the Fields show scheduled for May 14th at the Amp’d Studio has been moved to The Drake Hotel.  The show will still be FREE and if you printed tickets for the previous venue they will be honored.

Fields are awesome so you should spread the word we’d love to see you down there.

Here’s is a little something to wet your appetite:

Following the release of the highly anticipated debut album ‘Everything Last Winter’, Fields continue to impress in live gigs across the country. The Band formed in 2006, are a Anglo-Icelandic indie band; sounding a bit like a pagan madrigal with enough guitar to allow a head bang too. The album is worth checking out and if you can get to see them live you won’t be disappointed.

Nick Peill (vocals/guitar) and Thorunn Antonia (vocals/keyboards) create a modern folksy sound which explodes into heavy melodic guitar, enough to prompt one excited listen to exclaim “this band kicks arse” as he launched into a punky pogoing dance, its difficult to know whether to rock out or simply sway back and forth, yet the effect is good.
