Metric Added To Virgin Festival Bill!
Thursday, February 1st, 2007Vancouver’s hottest music extravaganza, Virgin Mobile’s Virgin Festival, just got hotter with the addition of Metric to the line-up. Joining previously confirmed artists The Killers, My Chemical Romance, Billy Talent, AFI, Muse, and Victoria’s own Hot Hot Heat, Metric will play at UBC’s Thunderbird Stadium on May 21, the second day of the festival.Â
Metric’s widely-acclaimed in-your-face vocals will be a sure fire hit with Vancouver’s music aficionados. Lead vocalist, Emily Haines, just finished touring with her solo effort and played Vancouver to a sold out Commodore. Â
