On the eve of the launch for their sophomore album, Live It Out, Metric set off on what would be their most successful tour to date. A 100% sold out tour of Canada and packed houses across the United States made people sit up and take notice of this band.

The first single, Monster Hospital, has graced the television and radio all fall, earning them a performance spot at The Edge’s 2005 CASBY Music Awards. The second single, The Police And The Private, is waiting patiently in the wings to take on the airwaves early next year. Stay tuned.

KT Tunstall is a sparkling new songwriter with Chinese blood, a Scottish heart, great legwarmers and a cool name – “well, it’s got a bit more attitude than Kate which just says farmer’s daughter to me,” she laughs.

She joins the incredible bill at Lee’s Palace on December 10th with Jason Collett, Paso Mino and Al Tuck. Tickets are available at all usual outlets.

Tonight at the Drake Hotel, London-UK-based multi-instrumentalist Tom Vek visits Toronto for the first time. Supporting Tom will be Ghostly Recordings recording artists Mobius Band.
