Massive Emerge update and notes…

Island show...

It has been a while since we got you a real update. So here goes…

Our June 24th show on Olympic Island with Broken Social Scene, Bloc Party, Feist and more – is selling really well. If you’re thinking of getting tickets to this – you should hurry up because the show will probably sell out sooner than later. We will also be announing another band or two shortly.

Our show with The Streets and Lady Sovereign at the Phoenix on June 23rd sold out the weekend it went on sale.

We have also announced some other very cool shows of late including:

A couple of other shows that we’re really excited about, which are coming up soon are:

Guillemots – Mod Club – May 4th
For those of you who missed their show at the Horseshoe earlier this year, you missed one of the great ones of 2006. These guys are killing it over in the UK and put on quite the show. Lead singer Fyfe Dangerfield has one of those voice that’s hard to forget. Supporting Guillemots will be Kill The Lights.

Corinne Bailey Rae – Mod Club – July 4th
She sold over 300,000 records in her 1st week in the UK. #1 single, #1 record, huge talent and incredible story. Corinne Bailey Rae’s show at the Mod Club is going to be one of those shows people will remember when she is playing huge rooms. A really unique voice and interesting blend of sounds. One of the shows we’re most excited about.
We will be spreading our wings with current radio darlings Mobile, Surplus Sons and Flashlight Brown into southern Ontario with a series of shows.
